ACPMP exhibited at the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists – ACOG Annual Meeting on May 1-2, where Executive Director Deborah Shelton attended and staffed the ACPMP table, engaging directly with healthcare professionals across women’s health.
At this highly attended conference, we connected 1:1 with 170+ healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, gynecologists, surgical specialists, residents, and medical educators, highlighting the connection between appendix cancer and gynecologic care, especially in cases where symptoms are often misattributed or discovered during OB/GYN procedures.
By sharing educational resources and raising awareness, ACPMP continues to bridge critical knowledge gaps, helping clinicians better recognize, diagnose, and support patients affected by appendix cancer and PMP.
Every conversation moves us closer to earlier detection, improved outcomes, and stronger collaboration across specialties.
