Dr. Elizabeth Godfrey’s project DECISIVE aims to address this problem by comprehensively understanding the decision-making experiences of individuals and their caregivers considering cytoreductive surgery and using that knowledge to develop a decision aid that would support and improve the decision-making process.
Dr. Michael Foote, a Medical Oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, talked to us about the recent immunotherapy revolution that has created considerable excitement for treatments that boost the immune system to fight cancer and avoid chemotherapy-related side effects.
