Carrie’s Earth Angels is back for their third annual 5K walk in support of appendix cancer research, just a bit later than our Global Walk Week, but still making a powerful impact! Join us on Saturday, September 6th, for a day of community, remembrance, and hope at Yankee Woods in Tinley Park.

This family-friendly event includes a scenic 5K walk, a visit from the local fire department (with trucks for the kids to explore!), and a cookout provided by the Stumpf family following the walk. Bring your loved ones, lace up your shoes, and be part of something meaningful.

All funds raised go directly to the Appendix Cancer PMP Research Foundation to support research, education, awareness, and progress toward a cure. The walk is inspired by Carrie, a survivor who was diagnosed with appendix cancer in 2023. Thanks to early intervention, expert care, and the support of her incredible community, Carrie is now NED (No evidence of disease).
