On June 30th, 2023 Tucker McCabe is embarking on a 160km bike ride from Ottawa to Kingston, Canada in honor of Ryan Forbes and his family, to raise money for Appendix Cancer Research. Over the past 4 years, he has watched Ryan endure one of the most courageous battles against cancer. Seeing his will and determination to beat this awful disease, has been very admirable and inspirational, to say the least. “I am sure anyone who has followed his journey, can attest to that!”
Over the past year, he has had his own physical challenges (double hip surgery) and wanted to set a goal for himself to work towards. June 30th will mark 1 year since his first surgery. It was a challenging year for him, but seeing what Ryan has gone through, on a daily basis, helped him keep things in perspective, that things weren’t that bad!
He will be donating 100% of the funds raised to the Appendix Cancer Research Foundation!
