The Appendix Cancer PMP Research Foundation is excited to invite artists from all disciplines and skill levels to participate in the Shades of Amber: Creative Contest for a Cure, a national virtual art contest in honor of Giving Tuesday!
This is your chance to express your creativity and contribute to a powerful cause. We are looking for original artwork inspired by the color amber, symbolizing hope, strength, and awareness for those affected by appendix cancer. Your art can be in any medium—painting, photography, drawing, digital art—whatever you feel best conveys the spirit of hope and awareness. Need ideas? Here are some amber art prompts!

- Submission Deadline: November 17, 2024 (SUBMISSIONS CLOSED)
- Entry Fee: $15 or more donation
- Voting Fee: $5 or more donation
- Voting Period: November 18 – December 3, 2024 at 5 PM EST – VOTE NOW
- Final Voting and Announcement: On Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2024, top entries will be revealed on social media.
How to Participate:
- Submit 1-2 original artworks that incorporate the color amber and/or reflect themes of hope, awareness, or appendix cancer. – Submission deadline passed
- All submissions will be displayed online for public voting, with $5 or more per vote. Spread the word, gather support, and have your network vote for your work!
- Don’t want to participate? You can still help us by donating directly!

Top three winners will receive exciting prizes, including:
