We had a great second annual symposium at the University of Chicago on October 18th. Many thanks to Dr. Turaga and the University of Chicago Medical Center for another fantastic educational event. As always, we loved meeting so many of you in person and are looking forward to our midwest symposium again next year.

The University of Chicago Medicine’s Regional Therapies (HIPEC) Program and the ACPMP Research Foundation held the 2nd Annual “At the Forefront of PMP/Appendiceal Cancer” Patient-Provider symposium. The program was free and included talks from leading experts regarding education and new advances in the diagnosis and treatment of appendix cancer/PMP.

Whether you are newly diagnosed. have had PMP/appendix cancer for years, or are a caregiver, attending a conference is a great way to learn about the disease and become connected with others.
