Eighth Annual PMP Cancer Awareness Walk and Dad’s Day 5K

This event took place once again on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15, 2014 just outside Philadelphia, PA. Over the past 8 years this fantastic event has raised over $200,000 for PMP research. Thanks to all of you who helped make this a successful event!

Dan Ison’s Boston Marathon Run for a PMP Cure

Dan Ison's younger sister Diane was diagnosed with Appendix Cancer on April 15, 2013 and continues to fight her battle with grace and courage. On April 21st, 2014 Dan ran the Boston Marathon in honor of Diane and raised over $5,600 (114% of his goal) for pmpcure.org to help find a PMP cure.

Suzy’s Marathon for PMP

Suzy Krahenbuhl ran the NYC Marathon in memory of her Dad who passed away from PMP on May 12, 2012 after a near 10 year battle.

Second Annual Appendix Cancer Awareness Walk/Run

The second annual Appendix Cancer Awareness Walk/Run was held in Glasgow Park on August 11th. This year's Walk/Run was 2.78 miles and raised over $5,000 for Appendix Cancer/PMP research and education!

Seventh Annual PMP Cancer Awareness Walk & Dad’s Day 5K

This year's walk/run through scenic Ridley Creek State park was another great event with entertainment and refreshments for all ages. Once again we raised over $40,000 for PMP research and education. Thanks for joining the fun at our 7th Annual PMP Cancer Awareness Walk and Dad's Day 5K and supporting the PMP Research Foundation!

DC Rocks PMP

DC Rocks PMP raised $5,675 for PMP research through another fun night of funky live music and some really cool auction items.

Tress and Drew’s Half Marathon for PMP

Congratulations to Tressa and Drew for completing the UPMC Pittsburgh Half Marathon in memory of their father, Michael Dvorsky, who was a founding member of the PMP Research Foundation. Tressa and Drew raised over $5,000 for the PMP Research Foundation.

Leah’s Hartford Marathon

Leah Kasowitz ran the Hartford Marathon to honor her friend Doug Selmont and raised funds for PMP Research!

Team Rodge Twin Cities 10 Mile

June Rodgers ran from Minneapolis to St. Paul to help raise awareness of PMP and find a cure. The 10 miles were dedicated to her husband Chris who was diagnosed with PMP in 2007. All proceeds went to the PMP Research Foundation.
