The Appendix Cancer Global Walk is back and better than ever!

June 8 – June 16, 2024 | Location: Global – Anywhere you are.

Step 1: Register
Participate on your own (Select ‘Individual’), with a team (select ‘Join a Team’), or as a Team Captain (select ‘Create a Team’) and fill in your personal details. Then start fundraising for appendix cancer research, education, and awareness! Want to support without fundraising? You can always donate directly.

Step 2: Share with Friends and Family
Share your fundraising page with friends and family to join or donate to your team, help fundraise, and join the fun! This event is global, so anyone can participate from anywhere they are.

Step 3: Get Out and Walk!
Wear your new walk t-shirt and get outside anytime between June 8th – 16th to walk for appendix cancer awareness and help fundraise for research and education! You can walk in the park, in your neighborhood, or anywhere you want!

WHY WALK?

We walk each year to raise awareness about appendix cancer and PMP, a rare cancer that affects approximately 1-2 people per million per year. This cancer is often late-diagnosed or misdiagnosed, highlighting the critical importance of early detection and support.

Our walk is a symbol of solidarity for individuals and families battling appendix cancer and PMP, showing them they are not alone in their fight. It’s also a time to honor the cherished memories of those who bravely faced this rare cancer.

Every step we take, and every dollar we raise supports the Appendix Cancer Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (ACPMP) Research Foundation. Together, we raise awareness, provide vital support, and fund educational programs and critical research. Our goal is to advance treatments and ultimately find a cure.
