About Tommy Tuesday Team:
Tommy Tuesday lost his battle to Appendix Cancer/PMP last April, 2018. Friends of Tommy are joining together to run a 5K at the Ravenswood Run in Chicago on April 28, 2019 in honor of their friend who they miss immensely. We hope you will support Tommy Tuesday Team as they run to raise awareness and funding to find a cure for this terrible disease.
Why Run? Why Donate?
Funds raised for Tommy Tuesday Team will go to the ACPMP Research Foundation, a 501(c)3, whose mission is to fund research to find a cure for Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP), Appendix Cancer, and related Peritoneal Surface Malignancies (PSM), as well as fund educational programs to educate physicians and patients about these diseases.
The ACPMP Research Foundation has awarded $1,100,000 in the form of twenty three research grants over the past nine years. You can see a complete list of the research grants awarded at Research Grants Awarded.
We hope you will support Tommy Tuesday Team’s efforts to raise awareness and find a cure for appendix cancer/PMP. All donations are 100% tax deductible. For more info about the ACPMP Research Foundation, visit acpmp.org/About Us.
