UMass PMP/Appendiceal Cancer Symposium

Attendees at this second annual event learned about pseudomyxoma peritonei and non-carcinoid appendiceal tumors and heard from a variety of experts about the prevalence, the signs and symptoms, treatment options, and latest research. Topics presented included surgical and medical oncology perspectives, imaging for appendiceal cancer, insurance coverage, nutrition, exercise and wellness, and patient and family perspectives.

Tim’s CareFirst Half-Marathon for PMP

Congrats to Tim Shaughnessy for completing the CareFirst Half-Marathon in 2 hours, 4 minutes, and 18 seconds, and surpassing his fundraising goal for the PMP Research Foundation. Way to go Tim!
